This Event is designed mostly for Americans visiting Paris. It is a kind of Bistrot Surprise, but extended to a greater visit and a dinner around Thomas Jefferson’s favourite wines *. The visitors will be fascinated by his discoveries, will walk in his foodsteps, especially to the Musée de la Légion d’honneur, whose architecture inspired him for the construction of his Monticello housing. This historical promenade starts from Palais Royal and takes you through the River Seine to the Musée d’Orsay and then to a Bistrot at which, aperitive and a good typical French meal, will be served on T. Jefferson’s favourite wines.

* From 1784 à 1789, Thomas Jefferson is plenipotentiary ambassador of the United States of America at the time of the French Revolution. Very refined and balanced person, curious and very observer, tireless worker, he toured France and Europe and brings copious notes and detailed information about agricultural habits, including eating and drinking of the countries visited. Especially his wine tasting notes and classification, as a great lover of wine, were used in the development of the famous classification of Bordeaux wines in 1855…
